York is only two hours by train from London Kings Cross and just two and half hours from Edinburgh. There are regular cross country services from all parts of the UK making access to the city very easy and comfortable.

Manchester, Doncaster and Leeds/Bradford airports offer a taxi service to and from York, there is also a good rail service straight into Manchester airport.

By car or national bus travel, the city is well served with easy access to major roads such as the M1, M62, A1 and A64.
