Objectives

Intended for personnel who already have a basic understanding of the law but require a more detailed knowledge.  It is particularly suitable for people who have attended our Legal Aspects of Purchasing course.

Outcomes

Attendees will participate in a highly interactive workshop making extensive use of case studies based on recent court decisions.  As well as gaining a refresher in contract law and core legislation, attendees will also review recent legislation, international contracts, TUPE, intellectual property rights and key areas for drafting contracts.

International Contracts

Uniform Laws / The Vienna Convention / The Unidroit Principles for International Commercial Contracts / Jurisdiction and the Applicable Law / The Brussels and Lugano Conventions / The Rome Convention.
