Objectives

Intended for personnel within the Supply chain with direct or delegated responsibility for ensuring that materials, equipment and services are available on time with the least cost incurred.

Outcomes

The critical requirement of on-time delivery each and every time and the serious consequences to a business of supplier failure are plainly made clear.  The importance of expediting is emphasised and techniques are provided to monitor, control and improve supplier on-time delivery.  These include methods to apply pressure to suppliers to ensure they fulfil their obligations and how to deal with unacceptable performance.  Attendees will leave motivated and confident to positively manage delivery and other crucial aspects of supplier performance.
